When I first interviewed Abhishek for the role of Producer/Writer for the ICC Cricket show I knew I'd found the right man for the job. I soon gave him the nickname of Mr Crikipedia for his encyclopedic knowledge of the game. His writing skills were sharply honed as he crafted player profile stories and condensed match highlights to satisfy the most ardent cricket fan, plus a weekly quiz question that would always challenge the statisticians. I always felt confident that when he went on overseas assignments to the big tournaments that he would come back with a bag full of interviews and stories, and he never disappointed. He has a real passion for the television medium and enjoys working closely with his video editor and audio mixer. He has a wide variety of interests and is always keen to broaden his knowledge. I hope we will have the opportunity of working together again.
